Testimonial

Lynn says “I have only attended three meetings of the Brooklyn Turbine Toastmasters but already I look forward to the fortnightly event on my calendar. From the beginning I have found the club members welcoming and encouraging. There is a good mixture of age and ethnicity, new and experienced members. The group was smaller than I imagined with 15-20 people attending each meeting. However this size makes it easy to get to know each other especially during the mid evening coffee break. I feel that everyone is keen to make the meetings an enjoyable and fun learning experience.”
Joji says “public speaking was my greatest fear. I visited Turbine Talkers twice. I was made to feel very at ease by the friendly members. I was also impressed by the standard of the speakers and peoples ability to speak on the spot during Table Topics. I have delivered 6 of the 10 speeches required to be a Competent Toast Master (CTM). I now not only speak, but I sing, dance and even act in front of a very appreciative audience. It gives me a turbo boost of confidence and pride when I hear the applause.”
