Our Club's meeting Report for 06/05/08icon new

What an interesting night we had by having our AGM followed by our Club Meeting. I was extremely fortunate to have few last minute changes.

At the AGM we saw the new committee voted in. The minutes were taken by Grant and will be placed on the website shortly.

We had one guest, Alana who we hope to see back next time.

Morgan gave us his Icebreaker speech “I’m the guy with the thick accent”. He talked about how he used to live in Brooklyn, New York and now lives in Brooklyn, Wellington. more >>

Our Club History

Turbine Talkers Toastmasters Club chartered in March 1997. Its charter number is 6879. Initially it met at the Brooklyn Community Centre, then moved to the Brooklyn Resource Centre. Currently the club meets at St Matthew's Church Lounge. more >>

1st July 2008, Turbine Talkers is marking the beginning of the new Toastmasters year by going bowling at The Lanes. Members will meet at The Lanes at 7.15pm. There will be no meeting at St Matthews that evening.
